Designed for the regeneration of spent molding and rod cold-hardening (self-hardening) mixtures for further use in the foundry. The machine can be used in foundries of individual, small-scale and serial production. The company "Litmashpribor" LLC has the opportunity to manufacture for your company an installation for knocking out molds molded according to Alpha-set and Furan technology, followed by crushing the lump and mechanical regeneration of molding sand. Installation of the cleaning mod. UTM 3.1 is designed for dry abrasion (mechanical regeneration) of sand molds and rods bound with resin, grinding of sand lumps remaining after removal of the casting to the required size of sand grains with the removal of the resin film from them.

The principle of operation of the installation The installation consists of a welded receiving hopper with three rows of horizontally arranged grids with different cell sizes. After removing the casting, the sand lumps enter the upper grate (deck) and, due to the vibration created by two electromechanical vibrators IV-23-16 of 2.7 kW each, pass through sieves and are crushed to the desired size of sand granules, which is provided by a fixed size of the cracks of the lower grate with wedge-shaped grates. The machine body is mounted on four rubber buffers that provide vibration damping up to 95%. The parts subjected to intense wear are made of HARDOX450 wear-resistant steel with a hardness of HB 425-475 units. The use of the installation allows you to repeatedly use the molding and stethe use of a rye mixture in foundries for the production of castings from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, solves the issue of recycling the mixture and reduces the cost of casting.
