Continuous sand mixer S220

The sand mixer model S220 allows to prepare from 10 to 20 tons of molding sand per hour and, thanks to the second arm, feed them to the desired point of the mold. Due to the adjustable capacity, the sand mixer can be used for the manufacture of a wide range of sizes of molds both for shaping and shaping on a vibrating table as part of automatic lines.

High productivity enables fast filling of molds in automated molding lines or filling large molds with individual installation.

About the product

The two-arm sand mixer with a productivity from 10-20 t / h is a modification of the single-arm mixer, which includes an additional movable arm. The second sleeve allows the mixture to be fed not only within the sleeve turning radius, but to cover a large area of ​​the molding section, which is very important when molding large forms. The second sleeve can have either a screw or a belt feed.

Product design:
The design of the sand mixer provides for the presence of one screw chamber with a high-speed rotating auger and a sleeve with a belt conveyor.
The principle of operation of the mixer is to quickly mix the sand with the liquid components supplied to the screw chamber and unload the finished mixture into a mold.
The arrangement of mixing blades, made of wear-resistant steels with the use of tungsten carbide plates, allows to achieve the maximum service life with the lowest possible indicators for the consumption of the used binders. The use of an additional sleeve increases the working area and allows the mixture to be fed to a given point.
