Scope of application

The equipment is used in the foundry industry as an integral part of treatment plants.

Product design

The device is attached to the foundation by means of three supports screwed to the lower chamber. Thus, the lower chamber with supports is the base of the device on which they are mounted: from below — the mixing chamber, from above-a series-bypass valve, a loading device. The valve block is mounted to the upper chamber by means of flanged connections.
The electric cabinet is suspended on the wall or a special rack in a convenient place for servicing the device. The device in the upper part has a flange for connection to the shot storage hopper.

The device performs the following operations: the selection of shot from the storage hopper, automatic transportation of shot to the lower chamber, the formation of a mixture of shot and compressed air, the supply of the mixture to the nozzle nozzle for ejection from the latter to the treated surface.
The fraction is taken from the storage hopper by means of a loading device, which is a sector gate. The shutter is opened by a one-way pneumatic cylinder, closed by a tension spring and a counterweight.
The device automatically transports the shot to the mixing chamber as it is consumed.
A mixture of shot and compressed air is formed in the mixing chamber and is fed through the nozzle nozzle sleeve to the nozzle, in which the shot is accelerated and ejected onto the treated surface.

The operating mode is automatic. The device is controlled remotely, from the electrical cabinet.
