Model 22113

Jolt squeeze molding machines without half-molds turning with subsequent final squeezing. This machine is intended for manufacturing upper half-molds, and lower half-molds when using the canting device, in molding sections of foundry workshops of small-scale and serial production.

The range of jolt and jolt squeeze machines manufactured by our plant includes model 22113. This model is intended for manufacturing upper half-molds, and lower half-molds when using the canting device, in molding sections of foundry workshops of small-scale and serial production.

Product design

Main components: jolt squeeze mechanism, traverse, column, pneumatic equipment, lubrication system, control panel.

Jolt squeeze mechanism located inside the column performs the following operations: jolting, simultaneous jolting and squeezing, jolting followed by squeezing, pattern drawing.
The column is a steel hollow casting to which the jolting mechanism and swiveling traverse mounted in the upper part are attached.

The machine operation is performed as follows:

Turning on “Start” lever on the control panel connects molding machine to the compressed-air system. Herewith the squeeze traverse is retracted from the operating position.
After installing of pattern and box equipment on machine table, filling frame is mounted and mold box is filled with mixture. Pressing of “jolting” lever provides preliminary squeezing of mixture in mold box, then the filling frame is detached. After jolting, molding sand is filled into mold box. Further process operations are carried out in automatic mode. Operation mode lever is put into “automatic” position. Squeezing traverse is turned into operating position. Jolting and squeezing are performed simultaneously. After a period of time set for this operation the timing relay gives an instruction to stop simultaneous jolting and squeezing.
Injection cylinder and jolting table are lowered. When the squeeze piston is in the lower position, a squeeze traverse is retracted in home position, vibration generator is turned on, and drawing mechanism is lifted. Drawing mechanism pins divide squeezed half-mold from the pattern, half-mold is detached, pins are lowered into the home position.
