Sand regeneration and cooling unit URM 3

It is intended for reclamation of waste molding and core cold resin-bonded (self-hardening) mixtures for further use in foundry production. The unit can be used in foundry workshops of individual, small-scale and serial production. Principle of the unit operation The reclamation unit is a complex made up of the attrition unit, bucket elevator, cooling and dust removal unit (separating screen), a fan and a pneumatic sand conveyor. After removing the casting, the sand clumps are transported to the upper grating of the attrition unit where two IV-23-16 electromechanical vibrators crush and grind sand to the required grain size. Then bucket elevator transports sand into the separating screen where the built-in ventilator cools the sand and removes dust. The pneumatic pump which feeds reclaimed sand into the storage tank is installed at the separating screen output. The unit operating mode is automatic.
